Cosplay catwalk enthusiasts – this is the moment you’ve been waiting for!
Magicon will be hosting two catwalks this year. On Saturday there will be a catwalk that is all about creativity and fun, which means there are no judges and no competition. If you want to compete however, then the Sunday Catwalk Competition is for you. They will both be held at the main stage this year – so get ready to rule that runway!

The Cosplay Catwalk
The Cosplay Catwalk, is just as the name sounds – a classic Cosplay Catwalk where you get to show off your costume and character on stage. You will get to show off your awesome costume in front of an audience for fun! This event will not be judged, so there is no pressure and lots of room for your creativity to run wild.
The Cosplay Catwalk will be held on Saturday at 14:00 on the main stage. You can sign up for the Cosplay Catwalk at the Info-stand when you enter the convention on Saturday. The sign up will be open till 13:30, unless it gets filled up before then. There will be 30 spots in total for participants/groups.

How does the Cosplay Catwalk work:
You will have 30 seconds on stage to show off your character and costume. If you participate as a group, you still only have 30 seconds because we need to keep a strict schedule. Remember to use the stage well, the audience want to see you! Unfortunately you can’t choose your own music. Remember to keep your stage performance PG-13!
Number of participants:
You can have between 1-6 participants.
Most important of all, remember to have fun! We can’t wait to see you there!

The Catwalk Competition
Wanna show off your catwalk skills to our amazing judges and live and breathe the character you cosplay on Magicons biggest stage? Either alone or with a group – you’re welcome to compete in our Catwalk Competition!
The Catwalk Competition will be held on Sunday on The Main Stage at 14:00. You can sign-up for the competition on our website on the 2nd of June.
There will be 30 spots in this competition, so you should sign up as soon as possible!

Judges and prizes:
There will be judges for the Catwalk competition and there is a prize to the winner and the runner up. Keep in mind that the prizes are designed for a single participant, so if you win with a group you have to share the prize of the best of your ability.

- Ability to show off your character

Sinty and Salty
Sinty
Sinty has been doing cosplay on and off since 2017 but joined the community only a little over a year ago. She self-identifies as a “functionalist“ , which she describes in counteract to perfectionism means someone who stops tweaking when it’s “ehhh, good enough”. Her favorite parts of cosplaying are photoshoots, and of course the Social Media game.
Salty
With inspiration from old-fashioned drag, combined with burlesque and a big dose of good vibes, Salty has spiced up the stage wherever they have performed. With their fantastic and energetic stage shows, that both challenges you and makes you think, Salty has taken the Norwegian drag community by storm. They have performed all over the country, but it’s not only Norway that has had their eyes opened by Salty. They have performed in Iceland, Croatia and even won an international lip-sync competition in France.
You may have heard of Salty – but Salty needs to be experienced!
