Cosplay Parade
with Cosplay Against Bullying
The cosplay parade will be held both Saturday and Sunday. Anyone can join in on the fun, just show up outside Chateu Neuf when the parade starts. We will walk together over to Majorstukrysset, dance the Manderville Dance and take pictures together! Afterwards we will walk back to Chateu Neuf as a group.
The cosplay parade will be hosted in cooperation with Cosplay Against Bullying (CAB).
CAB are a volunteer organisation who strive to highlight the social issue of bullying in today’s society. Unfortunately, a lot of people struggle with bullying on a daily basis. Cosplay Against Bullying hosts a parade every year to show both youth and adults that they take a stand against bullying. They also host other events and activities to bring together people with similar interests.
The cosplay community is an inclusive space which makes it appeal to people who have been or are still victims of bullying. Bullying is a problem on a societal level and many cosplayers have experienced how difficult and lonely it can be. This is why the organisation chose to call themselves Cosplay Against Bullying – because the community welcomes anyone with open arms, regardless of who they are.
